If you've been feeling frustrated with the crash-prone iPhone release of action puzzler Rock'n'Roll -- me included -- a fix is on the way.

Tag Games managing director Paul Farley told Wired that an update to address the crashing issue will appear on the App Store by the end of the week.

But fixes aside, it looks like Tag is not alone in encountering tech issues once its game is out the door. "Many other games/developers are having this same issue with the iPhone," Farley explains.

"In fact, all of Pangea’s games (Cro Mag Rally, Billy Frontier etc) describe this issue in their game descriptions," something Tag has now done for the Rock'n'Roll product page as well.

According to Farley, the problem seems to reside in the way the iPhone handles memory allocation for large amounts of data. A temporary fix is to reboot your iPhone, but far from ideal if you tend to use lots of apps, which will quickly clog up the device's memory again.

For those of you still on the fence about Rock'n'Roll -- and understandably so -- the developer is also now readying a "Lite" demo for the game, set to hit the App Store shortly after the title update is released.
