Blip Festival Floods NYC With Chiptunes

The third annual Blip Festival, the largest showcase of the growing game-influenced chiptune music scene, is coming to New York City. Here’s the artists who are confirmed to be playing.

The 8-bit powered event in which classic game hardware like Game Boy is used to produce music will be held December 4-7 at the Bell House in Brooklyn. Tickets for each night are $15, with a festival pass going for $50, or $60 with a DVD. This year’s festival is expected to include close to 40 performers, musicians and visual artists alike.
