TOKYO – During an event yesterday at the Apple Store in Tokyo's Ginza district, Kenichi Nishi (Chibi-Robo) announced that not only is he planning a sequel for his popular iPhone game Newtonica, he's got two of them in the works.
Newtonica 2 should quiet some of the critics of the first game – not enough of a game – with the promise of a sequel featuring more game-like features and structure. Newtonica 3, on the other hand, will go in the opposite direction and be more of an interactive app.
The Newtonica family also grew recently with the release of a free Newtonica player, which includes a techno track by Kenji Eno – his music is found in the original game as well. Eno is best known as the creator of the D survival horror series.
