It's been a long time in coming, but Netflix says it will roll out support for Mac users in a few months.
"We’ve been busy working getting a solution that will allow you to watch instantly on your Mac. So hang in there - we’ll have something for you by the end of the year," wrote "Brent" on the official Netflix blog.
It's good news for Mac users who have gotten second-class treatment from Netflix (and others) -- that is, while PC users have long been able to stream movies on Netflix, there hasn't been a Mac option for streaming.
The company also says it nabbed a deal with Starz Play that will add 1,000 titles to its "Watch Instantly" feature, and it expects to add another 1,500 by the end of the year. New titles include "No Country for Old Men," "Ratatouille" and "Superbad."
