Did you know John McCain asked Betsy Ross to create the first flag pin? Or that he was present on the journey to the New World, persuading pilgrims that the natives would greet them as liberators? Well, he was. He's just that old, and has shaped American history in ways no one knew about.

Except for *Mad *magazine, that is.

The venerable spoof mag's newest issue takes the 2008 election head-on, ripping into Keith Olbermann, Sarah Palin, Joe Biden and ... The Dark Knight? That's right, Alfred E. Neuman takes no prisoners. Uh, bad choice of words. Sorry about that, McCain.
