Dr. Ronald Chevalier – Inspiring Oneself
A new and wondrously inspirational video has surfaced from Dr. Ronald Chevalier — scientist, painter and award-winning author of all 10 Cyborg Harpies trilogies.
In the rare look into the daily life of a visionary artist (above), Chevalier demonstrates how tones of New Age music can inspire a sci-fi masterpiece (and perhaps a recording contract with Windham Hill).
For the uninitiated, this master of sci-fi is a viral stunt — a character from Jared Hess’ next film, Gentlemen Broncos. Played by Jemaine Clement from comedy show Flight of the Conchords, Chevalier is a perfectly caricatured, Art Bell-worthy fantasy and sci-fi gas bag who rips off the story idea of an aspiring young author (Michael Angarano).
