Picking which console version of Electronic Arts' sci-fi survival horror title Dead Space has just gotten that much harder.
Following the game's release -- October 14 -- you'll have two weeks to download a console-specific suit for your character to wear: the green-tinged Elite Suit for the Xbox 360 and the dark Obsidian Suit for the PlayStation 3.
More than just an aesthetic upgrade, each suit also increases your character's toughness, and adds inventory slots.
As much as I don't like this sort of console-specific content -- especially what they did with Soul Calibur IV -- this means that I won't be buying the 360 version as planned, but the PS3 one instead.
