British sci-fi fans are going to get two Doctors for Christmas as David Tennant's Doctor Who incarnation No. 10 meets an 11th in the BBC Christmas special, "The Next Doctor."
This year's Children in Need telethon will feature the first two minutes of the special. That Who-ish element of the annual fundraiser could put to rest rumors that the program would reunite all surviving actors who played the show's leading Time Lord.
David Morrissey (Basic Instinct 2) will play the Doctor's future self in the Christmas one-off opposite the "Labouring" Tennant (standing on the right) -- who has still not extended his Who contract with the BBC.
