To reward Capcom for being one of the most prolific developers of quality downloadable games on the PlayStation Network, Sony will be granting the firm their own specially branded storefront within the larger PlayStation Network, reports Edge.

The push to grant Capcom their own storefront (and thus a virtual repository for their myriad titles) is the first part of a drive by Sony's online team to grant a number of larger developers their own virtual storefronts as the number of games they have on offer may demand.

Further proving Capcom's dedication to the PSN, Siliconera has uncovered evidence (specifically an ESRB rating) of an upcoming downloadable version of Street Fighter Alpha 2 to be released on the store sometime in the future.

There is no solid date for the (unannounced) SFA2 port, though Capcom expects its storefront to launch in November.
