Bethesda's Fallout 3 isn't even out yet, and already there's talk of when a sequel could show up -- and it's sooner than you think.
Fallout executive producer Todd Howard told Reuters that "it's good for people to miss things," but "ten years between Fallout is a bit long," referring to the hiatus the series took following the release of Fallout 2 back in 1998.
Howard then stated that three years sounds just about right, in terms of when Fallout 4 should come out.
Fallout 3 will be available October 28.
