Despite numerous reports of the New York Sun's demise, managing editor Ira Stoll says nothing has been set in stone.

"There's been no final decision made yet. We're still in active talks. There's really not much more to say," he told our sister publication Portfolio.

And paper spokesman Michael Moi confirms in a Reuter's article that "There will be a newspaper tomorrow."

Wikipedia, however, is already speaking about the print paper in the past tense.

The New York Sun was a contemporary five-day daily newspaper published in New York City,” the entry reads. “On September 29, 2008, The Sun printed its last issue.”

Facing the usual decline in revenue, the paper has been seeking more money from investors, but while the death notices are a little premature, the outlook is still pretty grim.
