Tfreakingv Turns out, there may not be a whole lot of Americans clamoring to get their hands on the world's largest flat panel display. Most American consumers are more concerned about the quality of the television picture and the brand name than they are about the size of a television, according to an iSuppli survey.

"Since the inception of the flat-panel television market, much of the focus has been on size, with suppliers focusing on making larger panels at lower costs," said Riddhi Patel, principal analyst covering television at iSuppli, in a statement. "However, in recent times, attention has shifted to picture quality, with consumers placing increasing value on television front-of-screen performance."
