Rumor: Interplay Creating <cite>Fallout</cite> MMO

The launch of Interplay's new website brings with it extremely scant details on a mysterious, in-development MMO dubbed Project V13.

The only truly solid information from Interplay so far is a blurb about the company's new offices:

Interplay has opened a new office in Orange County, CA dedicated to the development of their new MMO code-named "Project V13," headed by original creators of Fallout.

The involvement of members of the Fallout development team wouldn't be enough to excite me by itself, but when taken with the extremely Fallout-esque typography swirling around Project V13 (see above), and the obvious marketing boost a Fallout MMO would see from the upcoming release of Fallout 3, it almost seems like a foregone conclusion.

Also, I'd be stunned if "V13" wasn't shorthand for "Vault 13."
