Bungie is set to release an update for Halo 3 later this month, adding new achievements and overall game upgrades.
Announced on Bungie.net by community manager Luke Smith, the achievements listed reward players of the optional Legendary Maps pack, as well as the Halo 3 campaign mode.
"Title Update 2" will also add some "under-the-hood changes" to fix bugs and improve performance, with a new ban update that Smith promises will "soon drip wet with the blood of jerks and the innards of sinners."
Also coming with the update are military-style "Playlist Rankings" based on a player's experience points, different from the game's Trueskill values used in matchmaking.
