Does John Connor need more women in his life? Apparently so.

Stephanie Jacobsen, who played officer Kendra Shaw in the Battlestar Galactica back-story film *Razor, *will be joining the cast of *Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles *as a rogue resistance fighter who traveled back from the future to aid the Connor family.

Jacobsen's character will be a love interest for Brian Austin Green's character, Derek Reese, who is also a time traveler who escaped the regime of robots ruling Earth's future.

The second season already has a full slate of new recruits -- Garbage rocker Shirley Manson stepped in to play a metallic morphing machine, Freaks and Geeks alum Busy Phillips signed on as a hippie neighbor and Leven Rambin now portrays quirky high-schooler Riley -- but one more couldn't hurt.

The new star power could boost the show's steadily dropping ratings and cinch a renewal for the third season of the apocalypse.
