Communitychest When Google makes a bank error, it always seems to be in its favor, unfortunately. Google Adsense recently miscalculated the exchange rate it gives to publishers, this time in India.

AdSense users in India this week were unhappy to see that Google had calculated the value of the rupee at a 1:1 exchange with the dollar (the actual exchange rate is closer to 46.555 Indian Rupees to one American dollar), making ads created by Indian users, just a bit less profitable than they had planned.

This has happened before, in Australia and Canada, with Google inverting the exchange rates in its own favor. However, the error was quickly fixed. And Google is now working to correct this problem as well.
