There's been a lot of activity in the geoblogosphere the last few days ... I guess we are coming out of summer break, people are returning from field work, starting up their academic terms, and all that stuff. There's been so much activity (e.g., the fifty minerals meme) that posts are getting buried quick.
Here are a few items that I wanted to call attention to before I forget:
(1) Callan over at NOVA Geoblog is conducting a survey about geoscience blogs and blogging. The more data the better, so if you haven't taken the survey yet (it takes only a few minutes), head on over and do it!
(2) Chris at goodSchist.com will be hosting the September 2008 edition of The Accretionary Wedge geoscience blog carnival. The theme is ...
(3) Whatever happened to Where on (Google)Earth? -- Péter is still waiting for an answer. If you win, you get to pick the next location and host it.
