Developer The Behemoth has finally thrown out a few details on what sort of downloadable content we can expect for their awesome Xbox Live Arcade beat-em-up Castle Crashers.
Both the King and Necromancer characters will be playable via future downloadable content. Players will gain access to the much-requested Chainsaw weapon as well. Date and pricing info for all of this content remains a secret.
Though the Chainsaw has appeared in a number of online videos, project manager Emil Ayoubkahn clarifies that the videos were made by people with access to Microsoft's developer's network. Both the full Castle Crashers game as well as the planned DLC are currently available there, leading to the confusion seen on forums across the 'net.
Hopefully the DLC pack includes more than two characters and a single new weapon, though based on the additional content released for The Behemoth's Alien Hominid, I'd expect quite a bit of extra content over the next few months.
