Rare is the band hard to pin down in the 21st century, but The Dears is that rarity. Openly romantic and symphonic yet destabilizing and hypnotic, the Montreal-based brainchild of spouses Murray Lightbird and Natalia Yanchak has another baby on the way. By baby, I mean a sweet new release.
Missiles is equal parts swirling electricity and angelic chorus. Its songs start out as familiarities, but end as head trips.
