While print has been rapidly making the move online, today the digital media makes its way onto paper.
Esquire magazine will unveil its October 75th-anniversary issue today featuring a display of electronic ink.
The technology is coincidentally supplied by E Ink Corp., the same company that supplies the electronic paper to Amazon’s Kindle. Both use micro-capsules of ink controlled with an electric charge.
Esquire’s display will flash “The 21st Century Begins Now” and also include an electronic ad for the Ford Flex Crossover.
We will be heading over to check out the cover and report back later with more details and a few pics.
