Mythic Entertainment has dropped a new cinematic trailer for Warhammer Online and honestly, I’m a bit underwhelmed.
Maybe I’m just jaded by the overstuffed genre of fantasy MMOs, but between my experiences in the WAR beta and this paint-by-numbers cinematic, I’m worrying more and more than Warhammer Online will follow the same stalled Gartnerian Hype Cycle that Age of Conan experienced.
Am I too cynical? Did this video excite you to no end? Are you going to be the first person to say WAR looks an awful lot like World of Warcraft?
