Star Trek Online saw its official debut at last weekend’s Star Trek conference courtesy the game’s first trailer.
Unsurprisingly gorgeous, the trailer is comprised entirely of in-game footage and harkens back to the iconic introduction from the first Star Trek series, updated with vague references to in-game features.
The game, developed on Cryptic’s proprietary engine, still lacks an official release date, but after the turmoil that saw the game’s original developer, Perpetual Studios, collapse under its own weight, Star Trek fans are probably quite pleased just to see solid progress.
