Robot Chicken creator Seth Green is in talks to join the third season of Heroes.
Green could play a hard-core comic-book nerd who crosses paths with one of the title heroes, Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello reports. Joining him would be former Clueless castmate Breckin Meyers.
Creator Tim Kring has promised the third volume of the series — dubbed "Villains" — will revolve around the inner demons of characters along with a whole new cast of evil players. Watch a promo for the upcoming season (embedded).
Any guesses what roles Green and Meyers might play, if cast?
The comic-book wisdom angle sounds slightly reminiscent of the Frog Brothers in The Lost Boys. Then again, Green has a history of playing shape-shifting alter egos: He did a stint on Buffy the Vampire Slayer as a werewolf-bitten musician.
Heroes returns to NBC on Sept 22.
