*, a truly unorthodox stab at survival horror that combines detailed city maps and hordes of evil beasts, finally has some solid release info.
The U.S. version of the game will be available for download on PlayStation 3 on August 28 for $10, Sony has revealed.
A demo for The Last Guy appeared on Sony's downloadable service yesterday.
Though it was previously rumored to use maps directly from Google Earth, producer Josh Miller recently stated that the game simply uses "some very nice aerial/satellite photos" of our world's major cities. Even so, the game's quirky nature and Resident-Evil-meets-Pac-Man gameplay have piqued my interest.
