The Fall Dashboard Update for the Xbox 360 will be available this November, assuming you believe the blogging of a web comic creator.
Alongside this revelation, RPG-TV creator Chris Thomas also mentions that during his recent trip to Microsoft's U.K. studio, he was told that the first bit of downloadable content for Grand Theft Auto would also appear this November and include "roughly 15 hours of additional play time."
Mr. Thomas offers no solid date range for either release, nor a price point for the latter downloadable update.
Thomas closes his blog post with the best description of Microsoft's upcoming LIPS that I've yet seen.
"It's designed to be the kind of thing you leave on in the background of the party. If nobody plays the game it just plays music with videos. If somebody picks up the microphone and gives it a shake, the mic lights up and activates alowing would be singers to jump in and start singing along," he writes.
"The USP of course is that you can connect your Zune or iPod and use any
MP3 on your machine. The idea being that an online database will recognise the song and pull the lyrics allowing you to sing along with it."
