As part of our coverage yesterday of Fable 2's Collector's Edition, we revealed the existence of an "Otherworldly" in-game bonus, though there was no solid word on what exactly the press release detailing the CE meant by "otherworldly."
This morning it has come to light that the surprisingly inventive bonus is an appearance by the Halo series' protagonist Master Chief, still magnanimous in full period regalia.
No word on what role the Chief plays or if he comes equipped with dual repeating crossbows, but part of me hopes he fills a Jar Jar Binks-esque, ill-advised comedic relief role – if only to infuriate the legions of Halo fans suddenly determined to pre-order a game they'd otherwise have no interest in.
