Lionsgate hasn't been the most web-friendly studio, but it's learning to love the internet. The company agreed to distribute a portion of its catalog -- including "Dogville," "Requiem for a Dream," and "Reservoir Dogs" -- over video site Jaman.com. The movies will be available to rent for $2.99 to $3.99 apiece, while other Lionsgate titles will be free and ad-supported.
The deal comes a little more than a year after the studio yanked bootleg copies of filmmaker Michael Moore's documentary "Sicko" from the internet. The company said it was "responding aggressively" to protect its film, despite the fact that the guy who made it -- Michael Moore -- said he had no problem with file sharing.
