Tony Hilliam, CEO of Fury operator Auran, dropped by the MMO's official forums to deliver some sobering news: The game will be completely shut down "in 48 hours."
"We have reached our time limit to find a solution that would help us keep the Fury servers open. Sadly, no solution has been found," Hilliam wrote.
Hilliam goes on to apologize to fans of the title for Auran's inability to "find a viable business model" for the MMO. He then thanks the development team, though he adds, seemingly regretfully, that though the company gave it all they had, "history now judges that it still wasn't good enough."
Fury players who purchased the game in the last month are urged to return their copy of the title to the store where it was purchased.
