“America’s oldest journal covering the newspaper industry” is showing its age and finally venturing into the blogosphere with two new blogs set to roll out next week, Editor & Publisher editor Greg Mitchell reports.
"Fitz & Jen Give You the Business" based off of their podcast, will be a blog covering the ins and outs, (well mostly outs nowadays) of the newspaper biz, written by editor-at-large Mark Fitzgerald and Jennifer Saba, E&P's associate editor.
"The E&P Pub” will be more newsroom oriented, and is a collaborative effort from the entire staff.
Newspapers struggling with a decline in ad revenue and circulation have been making quite a bit of news themselves lately, so they should have plenty to blog about.
