UPDATE: A Blockbuster spokesman denies the reports; says the company has shipped as normal all week long.
Blockbuster is such a copycat operation. A little more than a week after Netflix suffered its first prolonged shipping failure -- which lasted three days -- Blockbuster is reportedly having its own shipping troubles, according to a couple reports.
Gizmodo and Bitstream both say the company has experienced shipping delays. A customer service rep told a Gizmodo reader there were "allocation problems" at a distribution center. And a customer service rep told Bitstream that DVDs that were supposed to ship on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are finally shipping today.
Blockbuster wasn't immediately available to comment.
