The step-by-step tutorial teaches you very general programming basics before plunging into the heart of the JavaScript programming language. Every code exercise uses an editor which will show you what the output will look like with the touch of a button. As we all know, the best way to learn is by doing, and AppJet lets you do exactly that.
The site includes an embedded programming editor to write your own code, test it and host it on the site. At the end of its first day, the site boasted 1,643 JavaScript apps hosted on the site. Best of all, the site's editor doesn't require an account to jump in and start coding.
