Almost as good as a roadster for the drinker on the go, yesterday Hornitos Tequila announced partnerships with BuyYourFriendaDrink.com and Playboy.
For all the people out there who would like buy their poor friends a drink, but are tired of having to interact with them in person, BYFAD allows individuals to purchase alcoholic beverages for their acquaintances, from the comfort of a computer screen.
The site provides participating venues, offers free drink incentives, and lists the BYFAD team's favorite drinks (in case you were so inclined...) As of yet, there are no participating bars in New York
City (perhaps they wanted to avoid users abusing the system in its early stages). Sanfranciscans, Los Angelinos and Washingtonians can buy their friends ecoupons til they pass out.
Hornitos has also embedded 2D codes in Playboy with a note to readers that they can “Scan the code. Get the girl.” Though tequila goggles might have readers overly excited about these prospects, scanning the advertisement with a phone simply takes you to another photo of the girl in question..

Fear not New Yorkers in search of booze. There are now 30 locations in and around the city where you too can purchase alcohol for your friends. Happy drinking.
