Cable news networks aren't winning new fans. CNN, CNBC,Fox and MSNBC all saw sharp declines in primtime ratings in the second quarter as viewers turned off the TV and flocked to the web.
Fox's primetime ratings fell 11 percent to 1.6 million from the first quarter, while CNN's ratings dropped 23 percent to 961,000 viewers, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The problem is two-fold, says the AJC: The race has gotten boring since Hillary Clinton dropped out; and there's also this "internet" thing that's stealing TV viewers.
