The addicting Xbox Live Arcade adaptation of the classic German strategy boardgame Ticket to Ride is already getting an expansion, bringing with it a European map and more.
Ticket to Ride: Europe will not only give fans of the railway building game a new territory on which to focus, but also adds ferries, tunnels, and train stations to the scene.
The world of German boardgames is no stranger to expansions, with popular titles usually getting stacked in stores alongside a number of add-ons that either introduce new maps, cards, or even entirely new gameplay ideas.
I'm still hoping that the XBLA version of Settlers of Catan will get some of the better expansions, especially the indispensable Cities and Knights, which vastly improves the game.
Ticket to Ride: Europe comes out next Wednesday for 600 Microsoft Points ($7.50).
