To keep fans happy until the launch of Puzzle Quest's sci-fi themed sequel Galactrix, D3 is releasing an expansion pack for the original RPG/puzzler on the Xbox Live Marketplace this week.
Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords - Revenge of the Plague Lord will bring with it quite a few new additions, which are listed below.
- Four new hero professions (bard, rogue, ranger, and warlock)
- A new level cap (up to 60)
- A new area on the map, adding 25 new quests
- 50 new spells
- 40 new magical items
- New monsters and bosses
- Three new Achievements
The expansion also introduces a new storyline, as the heroes must now contend with Antharg, the Lord of Plague himself, and brother to the original game's main boss, Lord Bane.
The Revenge of the Plague Lord expansion pack comes out this Thursday on Xbox Live Arcade, at a cost of 700 Microsoft Points (around $9).
