In a world full of boring looking electronics, the Zvue Journey MP3 player stands out from the pack with a stunning, Journey-themed design that will hopefully provide inspiration for future designs from other companies. At $40, there's almost no way any hardcore Journey fan is going to be able to resist braving the nearest Wal-Mart to pick up one of these tiny players.

The Zvue Journey comes preloaded with Journey music – 11 re-recordings (updated) of classic hits "Any Way You Want It," "Don't Stop Believin'," "Wheel in the Sky," "Open Arms," etc., as well as the 11 songs from their new album Revelation. Both feature the work of new vocalist Arnel Pineda rather than Steve Perry. But with a 1GB capacity, the Windows-only Journey player has room for additional MP3, WMA and WAV music so you can hopefully add the original versions of the songs to the player (updated). You also get a microphone for recording your most fervent Journey-related musings, a rechargeable battery, seven EQ presets and a tiny little speaker.

As the price of flash memory continues to plummet, expect to see more pre-loaded band-themed MP3 players on sale at merchandise tables and online. Hopefully, they'll look half as rocking as this one does (more photos below).
