Peter Molyneux, the man who gave us Fable and Black & White (along with tons of hyperbole hyping those games), has his eye on the MMO scene.

"I have been looking at MMOs," Molyneux told Eurogamer. "I love the interaction, and I'm fascinated by the idea of really feeling secure and cool enough to actually do it."

When pressed on the issue Molyneux said that he had been contemplating making an MMO of his own, though he refused to elaborate any further.

This news should come as no surprise to anyone following the development of Fable 2. That game blatantly lifts a number of interesting gameplay mechanics directly from online worlds, most specifically the game's social networking elements and the ability to invite others to join quests in the otherwise lonely world.
