'Dancing Matt' Recruits Fans for Global Dance-a-thon

Globetrotter and viral sensation Matt Harding is back with a new series of videos featuring him dancing around the world.

This time, he’s invited fans to join in the fun.

The latest video (right) features Harding performing his Riverdance-like frenetic jig with locals in 42 different countries, including Kuwait, Bhutan, Zambia and Argentina.

Harding became an internet sensation in 2005, when a video of him dancing in front of world landmarks accidentally leaked online.

Stride, a gum manufacturing company, took notice and recruited him to create a series of videos. The first one, showing Harding two-stepping in 38 countries, has tallied nearly 10 million views since its release in 2006.

The overwhelming response led Harding and Stride to embark on his latest worldwide dance-a-thon. So far, the video is already a huge hit — it was uploaded Friday and has already sailed past 2 million pageviews on YouTube.
