Borrow My Pen is a simple idea: The ballpoints are printed with fake business names designed to be so embarrassing as to ensure the pen's swift return -- coercion based on social embarrassment rather than the usual physical threats.
The trouble is, the legends aren't embarrassing enough. Only one of them is sufficiently risque to cause me to raise an eyebrow: Stuffed with Love Taxidermy - No Pet to Small. This is probably because I have the sense of humor of a schoolboy.
What we need are some real, target specific designs. A Vista pen to lend to your Mac-nerd workmates, for example, or a slogan which simply reads "I stay up as long as Twitter".
