Following earlier reports of the success Age of Conan has seen since its recent launch, Funcom has announced that the game has shipped more than one million copies in the nearly three weeks since the game's May 20 launch.

Funcom also made a point to note that the game is "officially number one on the charts in all major markets" and that the "standard edition has sold out in numerous territories" – all indicators of Funcom's claim that Age of Conan is "the biggest MMO launch since World of Warcraft."

Responding to the cries of gamers who can't seem to find the game on shelves, Funcom reassures potential fans that "hundreds of thousands" of additional copies of the title are now en route to stores.
