UnoIt had to happen, right? The Uno, the brainchild of an 18-year-old inventor, made it's debut at 2008 National Motorcycle Show in Toronto. It's a kind of Segway crotch rocket.

As you can see from the photo, it is a two-wheeled self-balancing electric vehicle with back pegs for the rider's feet. It's a one-off custom machine that uses a gyroscope for balance. To make it go forward, you lean forward. To slow it down, you lean backward. The only controls are an on/off switch. The gyro tells the ECU
how much to accelerate. Each wheel is controlled by an electric motor.

Designed by 18-year old inventor Ben J. Poss Gulak (and built with the help of a team of bike builders and engineers), the Uno weighs 120 pounds and should be able to reach 60 kilometers (37 mph).
