Citing reasons ranging from interest in other MMOs to disappointment in Tabula Rasa's current lackluster status, eminent TR player group Alpha Pack has retired from the game.
Far from a simple MMO guild, the Alpha Pack served as a liaison between players and the game's developers. Many of the game's most successful changes and additions were the direct result of Alpha Pack's involvement.
"The program had potential, but much like Tabula Rasa itself, that potential went unrealized," wrote a former Alpha Pack member on IGN's Tabula Rasa Vault.
Reasons for the group's departure were understandably diplomatic, though one can't help but notice a possible correlation between yesterday's massively successful Age of Conan launch and this exodus of hardcore MMO fans from their prior game of choice.
