A recent survey conducted by virtual world Habbo revealed that teens love the PlayStation 3 more than the Nintendo Wii or the Xbox 360.

Nearly 60,000 kids between the ages of 11 and 18 took part in the survey, and 69 percent of them thought that the PS3 was either "great" or "good." The Wii trailed closely behind at 64 percent, while the 360 earned a nod of approval from 58 percent of the kids.

Oddly enough, the PS3 was the console owned by the least number of respondents. Only 21 percent of the teens actually owned a PS3, as opposed to 24 percent with a Wii and 23 percent with a 360.

The PS3 may have won overall, but it's the Wii that has the young girls' hearts -- it was the preferred choice of females surveyed.

Given the results of the survey, and comments from Sony Online Entertainment president John Smedley that MMOs "are going to be a real strong selling point for the PS3 long term," it looks as though we may see Habbo on Sony's console in the near future.
