The National Geographic Channel will air new findings about the construction and utility of Stonehenge in a two-hour special that airs on Sunday, including a theory archaeologists have uncovered about why it exists. Spinal Tap’s Nigel Tufnel — a renowned Stonehenge expert in his own right — has a more interesting theory on how it was built.
The first hilarious installment of his five-part interview promoting the show is available to the right; parts two through five are below.
(National Geographic’s website includes a virtual Stonehenge, an interactive map of the site and an investigation of who could have built it — other than Tufnel’s "Duncan/Dunka" character.)
