Skate is being reworked and reborn for the Nintendo Wii as Skate It, and, as you might hope,it will support the Wii Balance Board.
Skate It maintains Skate's FlickIt controls, but also has "fresh new designs and gameplay components built from scratch," according to the franchise's executive producer, Scott Blackwood.
A version of Skate It is also in development for the Nintendo DS. It favors the stylus as the method for stringing together tricks, but feel free to stand on the Balance Board while you're playing, anyway. We won't tell anyone.
Skate It will be out for both the Wii and the DS later this year.
