The domain was registered yesterday, according to WhoIs. Could a social network spring up overnight? Not likely. But among prolific tweeters, it's a hot topic -- or a contagious prank.
- Chris Alden, of Six Apart, said he was "jonesing" for a PheltUp invite.
- Scott Beale says PheltUp has caused social network exclusion anxiety among social media addicts.
