Amazon's Simple Storage Service is designed to host data, not entire applications. It's made to just serve as the backend to an app server -- typically in Amazon's cloud.
Tom Evslin has worked out a way to host dynamic Ajax applications directly in the storage, with no intermediate server. Very cool.
