The Clear Channel radio conglomerate has been accused of homogenizing the terrestrial airwaves, but when it comes to Pandora's stations, it has agreed to take a hands-off approach.

Clear Channel has acknowledged that it will stream a couple of Pandora's streaming radiostations from its various web properties, but according to an agreement between the two companies, Clear Channel will not tweak any of Pandora's programming on those channels.

"Playlists are going to be pure Pandora, so we're not making any kind of compromise in how we sequence songs," Pandora founder Tim Westergren told Wired.com. "Clear Channel agreed to leave those untouched."

Clear Channel's trial run of its potential partnership with Pandora is scheduled to kick off around the end of the summer. If it's a success, the test will pave the way for a more substantial partnership that would allow Pandora to increase its reach and Clear Channel to provide more depth and variety.
