We were ready to pass on DJ Dok Rok’s mash-ups of 50 Cent and various hits from the ’50s (and to a lesser extent ’60s) until we gave them a listen and discovered that not only are they surreal and interesting in that familiar mash-up sort of way, but they’re also pretty well made.
To my ear, these mash-ups sound better than anything Fitty has actually released.
