Straight outta the New Zealand boondocks, Die! Die! Die! are anything but quiet. They exhibit a sonic intensity that starts with the legendary Wire and Pixies and ends somewhere between The Silversun Pickups and Interpol. Which is another way of saying they rock nicely, thanks.
Their self-titled 2005 debut was produced by iconoclast Steve Albini, whose muscular instincts helped Die! Die! Die! crack open the American and European markets, and their recent sophomore effort Promises Promises has finally made its way across the pond after enjoying months of acclaim with its native kiwis.
